ANC 8A01 Meeting
Thank you following our first meeting
"Thank You"
Thank you Keith, Michael & Claire for sharing your insights and for adding to our community conversation.
My fellow neighbors - Thank you!
I'm thrilled by the enthusiasm and shared desire to improve our community. It's an honor to be part of this effort.
I'm not a politician, and you can expect me to be direct and honest, even if it's not always polished.
My focus is solely on improving our lives and the lives of our neighbors.
I encourage you to continue attending our meetings and actively participate in our efforts. When it's time to make our voices heard, I hope you'll join me as I will join you should you need mine.
I'm committed to this work, even as a volunteer. I live here too, and I want to see a clean and safe neighborhood β a place where kids can play freely and everyone feels welcome. We all share these goals.
Together we'll clean up our streets, bring safety to the forefront and combat the challenges we see yet find it hard to talk about - some of those discussions will be tough to have but the help we can bring if we just do it together.
I see our unhoused as neighbors too lets offer that spare blanket we have in our closet. I see our Moms struggling to push that stroller through the snow so lets get those sidewalks shoveled even if its not our own. We all can help each other as we continue to invest in getting to know each other.
Dad's that step up, thank you - I see you being a girl dad walking down the street or playing ball at Boone on the turf - oh and how you involve the other kids, your role as a role model is key in our neighborhood - thats helping too! He looks up to you and wants to show you how he passes you the ball - give him that extra pass. Whether our kids are our own or our neighbors investing and watching out for them has a direct impact on our neighborhood. I love watching moments that have an impact on others. Pardon me If I'm taking note.
Thank you for doing what you to do make our community our own and something to be proud of.
I'm ready to work as hard as you are to build a brighter future for our neighborhood. I may not have all the answers, but I'm here to support and encourage everyone on this journey. I'll find the answers and bring the resources from the agencies you support through your taxes.
Lets see our tax money being used first hand.
Let's spread the word to our neighbors! Great things are happening in our community, and we want everyone to be a part of it.
Let's set our sights on a summer celebration to mark the progress we've made when we have one bomb ass block party. I move we create a committee to make sure that happens.
Next meeting (location to be determined) February 25th. Register here
